When do the penis and testes start to rapidly grow during puberty?

My son is going to be 16 in January, and he’s really upset about his body. He has grown and his voice is deeper, and he tells me that he has underarm and pubic hair as well as acne,but his testes and penis are still the same. He wants to know when they will fully grow, I wish I could tell him. Please help!!
The problem with my son is that he was bitten on the penis by our dog when he was about 4. Could this explain why his penis and testicles haven’t grown at all? He claims that there is no diffrence than what they were 5 years ago. The weird thing is that he has had a growth spurt and has acne, and he does have a broken baritone voice. We’re thinking about seeing a doctor. Does he have a serious problem or should we just be patient and wait for them to grow?

its just gonna grow slowly. your not gonna see a dramatic change one morning so just tell him to be patient and that he still has many many years to grow, before you know it, he might have a bigger package than you hahaha

Tell him that size really dosen’t matter and odds are over the next 5 years
one of those years both will grow CRAZY FAST.

Testicular growth is nearly always the first sign of puberty so, if your son has pubic hair, his testicles will almost certainly have enlarged even if he has not noticed this. Generally, the penis will begin to enlarge a few months after the testicles begin to grow and usually a boy will get taller at the same time as his penis is growing rapidly. Your son’s genitals will probably develop soon but, if he genuinely thinks his penis and testicles (in particular) are the same as they were before puberty, yet he has developed body hair, has a broken voice and has had a growth spurt, he should get professional help to be on the safe side! Males typically grow until the age of 21 – everything is different for all human begins. 5 to 6 inches is the average size of the male penis and as long as he’s in that range, it’s perfectly normal. If he’s about to be 16, the penis and testicles will probably be done growing soon. (That’s about the average age they stop.)

Almost every male in existence is worried about their penis and testicles, it’s natural to wonder – but like I said, if he’s 5 inches or more then there is no real problem. Make sure he’s exercising and eating properly and he’ll reach full and optimal growth.

If his growth is otherwise seems adequate I’d give it about 6 months til about age 16.1-16.2. And if at this time there seems increasing ratio size descrepancy, then you may wish to visit the Dr. Growth can be uneven..

by age 16, there shuuld be a major difference from five years ago. it wouldn’t hurt to see a doctor and make sure everything is okay
